Jaffaria Academy of Modern Education Higher Secodary School Kargil
Keeping in view the poor economy of the masses the organization established a public school named Jaffariya Academy of Modern Education(JAME) in the year 1995 , where children of underprivileged families gets quality and modern education at a very minimal fees as compared to other private schools of the region , at present the academy provide education to thousands of students from class Nursery to class 12th and on 5th of May 2016 the Higher Classes were shifted to its Higher wing campus situated at Kurbathang near Project Vijayak head quarters.

WORLD HEALTH DAY “Combat Drug Resistance)In Jammu and Kashmir, Like in all over the world health Organizations in Kargil also celebrated world Health Day today, during which district Health department organized a debate competition in Jafaria Academy of Modern Education ( JAME) school Kargil in which students and other speakers threw light on the topic ‘ comb Drug Resistance’ which is the theme for this year by WHO .Later after the function a rally has been carried out from JAME School to Balti Bazaar and concluded at JAME School. The rally was flag off by the president Islamia School Kargil Sheikh Ahmad Mohammadi and Chief Medical Officer Dr Gurjeet Singh.World Health Organization has chosen the theme of “Combat Drug Resistance” which is an emerging thread to the future generation. Drug resistance is the reduction in effectiveness of a drug such as an antimicrobial or an antineoplastic in curing a disease or condition. When the drug is not intended to kill or inhibit a pathogen, then the term is equivalent to dosage failure or drug tolerance. More commonly, the term is used in the context of resistance acquired by pathogens. When an organism is resistant to more than one drug, it is said to be multidrug resistant. (Wikipedia)Later in the conference Hall of district Hospital Kargil a Seminar on the topic Combat Drug Resistance’ has been organized in which, Dr Gurjeet Singh CMO Kargil, Dr Mohd Jaffer Akhoon Dy CMO, DR Villayat Physician Specialist, DR Norphal Child Specialist, Dr skindar and Dr Afzal Lone attended with Para medical Staffs and Druggists and chemists of Kargil . Talking On this occasion the Experts Dr Jaffar Akhoon, Dr Villayat Ali and Dr Norphal stressed on the need of full knowledge regarding Drug Resistance to all the concerned persons including the Druggists and Chemists, regarding Drug Resistance, as it is a bif thread to the health of the future generation.The CMO Kargil Dr Gurjeet Singh was the Chief Guest on this Occasion, while talking on the occasion he stressed on the need of making the druggist and chemist aware and requested them along with the Doctors to come forward to save the future generation.
