Arba'een e Hussaini, ( Chehlum) of Imam Hussain a.s the Grandson of Prophet Mohammad p.b.u.h and the Martyrs of Karbala observed in Kargil with religious zeal and fervor.
The Procession of Arbaeen was organised and taken out under the banner of Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakh in which 23 mourning processions from Town area and other villages of Kargil joined to pay tribute and remembered the supreme sacrifice of the Martyrs of Karbala.
The Mourners were seen reciting noha , beating their chest with hand and beating their back with chains doing Zanjeer Zani.
The Processions was concluded at Inqilaab Manzil famously known as Qatilgah e Hussaini with Ziyarat Arba'een which was recited by Hojjatul Islam Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili General Secretary Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakh before ziyarat e Arba'een Hojjatul Islam Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi Mohammadi President Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakhthrew light on the importance of observing the Chehlum of the great Imam (AS). “The Karbala incident teaches to fight injustice,” he said.
