The Last Friday of the Holy Month of Ramazan ul Mubarak 1437 H. (Jummat ul Vida) observed as International#QudsDay in Kargil to follow the saying of Imam Khomeini r.a the founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran as he declared the last friday of Ramazan ul Mubarak to be observed as International #QudsDay.
Thousands of People Participated in the Friday Prayers of Jumma-tul-Vidda at Houza Elmiyah Asna Asharia Islamia School Premises in Kargil Town.
In Kargil town the biggest Procession of Quds Day was taken out after the friday prayer (Jummat ul Vida ) under the Leadership of Markazi Imam e Jumma' wal Jamaa't Kargil Hojjatul Islam walmuslimeen Aqa Sheikh Mohammad Hussain Mufeed .
The procession was started marching from Houza Elmiyah Asna Asharia Kargil passing trough main bazar and returned from Lal chowk .
The Quds Day rally was Concluded with speeches by renowned speakers at Islamia School Chowk.
Hojjatul Islam walmuslimeen Sheikh Ibrahim Khalili General Secretary Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakh recited the verses of the Holy Quran following with speeches by renowned speakers.
The speakers on this occasion condemned the human rights violation in Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Afganistan, Nigeria, Pakistan Behrain, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and other parts of the world.
Markazi Imam Jumma on this occasion condemned Israel’s continued settlement expansion activities in the occupied Palestinian territories and its desecration of the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in the occupied Old City of al-Quds (Jerusalem).
He further addressing to the Government of India and the president of India, urged upon the Government of India to mark the protest of the people of Kargil and on behalf of this community raise the issues at international forms.
Talking on this occasion the President Anjuman Jamiat ul Ulama Asna Asharia Islamia School Kargil Ladakh Hujjatul Islam wal Muslameen Sheikh Nazir ul Mehdi Mohammadi urged upon the world powers to condemen the acts of ISIS and terrorist organization for a peaceful and harmonious world.
He further added that the occupied Palestinian territories have been the scene of heightened tensions since August 2015, when Israel imposed restrictions on the entry of Palestinian worshipers into the al-Aqsa Mosque compound in East al-Quds. The al-Aqsa Mosque is the third holiest site for Muslims after Masjid al-Haram in Mecca and Masjid al-Nabawi in Medina. Palestinians are angry at increasing violence by Israeli settlers at the mosque compound and their attacks on Palestinian property, saying the Tel Aviv regime seeks to change the status quo of the sacred site.

on this occasion Haji Mohammad Hanifa Jan. Chairman/Chief Executive Councilor Kargil was also present with the International Quds Day procession
